Immy Poole is an artist, currently completing a Master of Arts in Photography at the University of West England.
Multidisciplinary in nature, Immy’s practice goes beyond the limitations of photography, questioning the notion of medium and materiality with its relationship to audience and articulation.
Weaving through themes of philosophy, spirituality, and nature in both personal and universal , holding weight in the abstract in facilitating the mind and connecting to a deeper emotive response than the visual alone.
It is in the experience she looks to delve and question consciousness, viewing the role of the photograph as an articulation of internal landscape. This in turn intertwines and proceeds to present through her experimental approach to photography and expansive physical output, as a form of poetry and song; an expression of journey.
